What is included and excluded
Included: equipment as listed, mounting, DC and AC wiring, labour, testing, commissioning, and an Electrical Certificate of Compliance (COC). Excluded: roof structural reinforcement, county or EPRA permits, grid connection or net metering application fees, trenching over long distances, and three phase upgrades. The complete system prices above include panels, the inverter, batteries where stated, mounting rails, DC and AC cabling, labour, and commissioning on a standard single phase roof. Structural changes, a meter unit relocation, three phase work, or a county approval process are quoted separately.
Do your prices include an Electrical Certificate of Compliance?
Yes. GRIDBOSS is an Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) C1 licensed contractor. Every wiring and solar installation we complete is issued with an Electrical Certificate of Compliance (COC) as required by law.
Why is there a range rather than one fixed price?
Panel brand tier, battery chemistry, roof type (tile, mabati, or metal sheet), cable runs, and whether you need a new distribution board all move the final figure. We give you a fixed written quote after a free site assessment.
How long until a solar system pays for itself?
Most residential systems pay back in 4 to 6 years. Commercial and industrial systems typically pay back in 3 to 5 years because daytime usage is higher.
